Quadrant system

The quadrant system is a way of splitting a scene into 9 equal parts each showing something different, for example this scene from Essex Boys shows the main character centred around the middle section of the scene this is the same with the vanishing point in which stops before the top quadrants begin.
The system is used to see who is dominate over the scene and who isn't it also shows the more important features nearest the centre of the screen

The quadrant system causes the viewer to have many focus points, with one or two quadrants being dominant over the rest.
it is used to add depth just like the Essex boys screenshot and can also add areas of interest which have something in yet still not be the focal point of the scene.
